darlene anita scott holds degrees from Spelman College and Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research interests include the corporeal performance of trauma and the violence of silence.
scott has experience in writing studio administration and practice; instruction in developmental, general, and advanced composition, creative writing, modern American and African-American literature, and ancient and modern humanities; and higher education administration and leadership. scott is also a published poet, editor, and visual artist.
